In every circumstance, Your protection was my refuge,
A multitude of calamities couldn’t despair me.
Every melody conveyed the message of longing for You alone,
Every instrument echoed only Your call to me.
In every matter, the thought of Your happiness prevailed,
Every action’s purpose is to attain Your pleasure.
Day and night, I remain immersed in Your thoughts,
This intoxication of love has become such a delight.
Don’t accuse me of abandoning love,
For I do not incline anyone else.
You suggest I give my heart to someone else,
But will I ever find another who resembles You?
What can I do, the unfamiliarity with etiquette overwhelms me,
The familiar gaze of that captivating beauty.
The hope of meeting that invisible one has blossomed,
The poison of annihilation is more desirable than the water of eternity.
